The challenge
Highland Capital needed to make current account information available to customers and vendors while retaining its Dollar$ leasing application on OpenVMS.
The work
A JSON API connected the existing RMS data to web portals for internal sales teams, vendors and customers. The portals presented information from the operational system through interfaces built for each audience.
The result
Sales teams, vendors and customers gained access to underwriting progress, account balances, payment history and payoff information through the portals. The Dollar$ leasing application continued to supply the underlying business data.
